Performance Opportunities
Examinations
Students are encouraged to complete piano examinations. This is either through the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) or Trinity College of Music (TCM). Having an exam to prepare for is a great way to keep students focused on a goal and also offers them a great sense of achievement when they receive their results. Theory of Music examinations are also encouraged.
Cairns & District Junior Eisteddfod
In June/July each year, the Cairns & District Junior Eisteddfod is held. Students are encouraged to enter this competition. The Eisteddfod is a great performance goal to work towards. In addition, students can enter duo and/or trio sections of the Eisteddfod which provides them a wonderful opportunity to work with and get to know other piano students from Stacey's studio.
